Charles White
Kerry James Marshall, Mentioned Charles White When he talked about his Art and how he was inspired by Mr. Whites work. I agree It has Detail and emotion.
From a broken home in Chicago, Ill., White found that he could draw at the age of seven. He studied violin for many years acquiring a permanent love for music. An avid reader, he once said "A book that fascinated me and opened up new vistas, was Dr. Alain Locke's The New Negro.
